Alice made these three hats from yak yarn that was brought to her from China in 2008. They are lined with alpaca since that was softer than the yak fiber. This picture was taken of the same three travelers that went to China, at the top of Mt. Sinai in early 2009. Ruth Ann from the Groovy Knitters group dyed some of it the dark brown. They turned out wonderful.
