I had a good time this summer making several of these dolls for gifts.
You just know that you don't want to be anywhere near these horns.
I don't know how they manage with these horns. They look so heavy.

Lena and I had the opportunity to go to the NJ State Breeders Fiber Show. We saw some awesome jacob sheep.

Sue is new to our guild but, knits with us on Sunday nights at a local coffee shop. Her projects are always very ambitious.
Barbara has knitted a vest which she will be felting.
Rachel, another fairly new spinner, works on fiber from the sheep show. Her wheel is new to her as well. Rachel is a very accomplished needle felter.
Caroline is beginning a counted cross stitch picture of these bears. Quite an undertaking.

Yani, visiting from Florida, showed us her pieced skirt made by the Indians in Florida. It was unbelievable.
Alice sports another new sweater just in time for fall.
Carol, visiting from Michigan, brought a sample of her weaving to show us.
During the summer a group from the guild met at Barbara's house to learn how to make beads from ground up lavender flowers. It was a successful night for all of us.
